12-Team PPR Fantasy Football Rankings 2026 — Tiers
These are RotoAlpha's 12-team PPR overall rankings, where players are grouped into tiers of similar Draft Value surplus over replacement level — the higher the tier, the more a player projects above the baseline at his position.

Tier 1 — 2 RB, 2 WR (ranks 1–4)
Four players — two RBs and two WRs — sit in a band spanning 24.2 Draft Value points, and the cliff below them is 20.9 points: the largest gap on this entire page. Missing out on Tier 1 entirely is the single most expensive positional decision you can make in this draft. With RB and WR evenly split, there is no positional scarcity to exploit here — just a hard ceiling on how long you can wait.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jahmyr Gibbs | RB1 | DET | 329.6 | +178.0 |
| 2 | Bijan Robinson | RB2 | ATL | 315.2 | +163.6 |
| 3 | Puka Nacua | WR1 | LAR | 307.6 | +155.8 |
| 4 | Ja'Marr Chase | WR2 | CIN | 305.6 | +153.8 |
Tier 2 — 4 RB, 2 WR (ranks 5–10)
Six players spread across 33.6 Draft Value points, with RBs outnumbering WRs four to two — running back is the scarcer commodity at this level. The gap below Tier 2 is 11.1 points, meaningful but roughly half the cliff that separates Tier 1 from the rest of the page. Securing at least one RB here is a reasonable hedge against the position thinning quickly in the tiers that follow.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | WR3 | SEA | 284.6 | +132.9 |
| 6 | Amon-Ra St. Brown | WR4 | DET | 271.2 | +119.5 |
| 7 | Jonathan Taylor | RB3 | IND | 265.6 | +114.0 |
| 8 | De'Von Achane | RB4 | MIA | 257.7 | +106.1 |
| 9 | James Cook | RB5 | BUF | 255.9 | +104.3 |
| 10 | Christian McCaffrey | RB6 | SF | 251.0 | +99.3 |
Tier 3 — 4 RB, 3 WR (ranks 11–17)
Seven players, tightly packed within 15.6 Draft Value points, with WRs arriving first (CeeDee Lamb at #11 overall through Justin Jefferson at #13 overall) before four RBs close out the tier. The gap below is just 5.4 points, so the cost of sliding past Tier 3 is modest — but the WR depth here is the last place on the page where three receivers land in the same cluster, making it a natural window to address that position.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 11 | CeeDee Lamb | WR5 | DAL | 240.0 | +88.2 |
| 12 | Drake London | WR6 | ATL | 238.8 | +87.0 |
| 13 | Justin Jefferson | WR7 | MIN | 237.8 | +86.0 |
| 14 | Jeremiyah Love | RB7 | ARI | 228.8 | +77.1 |

| 16 | Ashton Jeanty | RB9 | LV | 225.1 | +73.5 |
| 17 | Chase Brown | RB10 | CIN | 224.3 | +72.6 |
Tier 4 — 3 WR, 2 RB (ranks 18–22)
Five players compressed into just 3.4 Draft Value points — the tightest non-single-member cluster outside of Tier 7 — meaning the order you land them in matters far less than simply landing one. Three WRs and two RBs sit nearly interchangeable in value, and the 5.4-point gap below mirrors the drop out of Tier 3 exactly, so there is no urgency to force a pick here over waiting a beat.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |

| 21 | Josh Jacobs | RB12 | GB | 216.4 | +64.7 |
| 22 | A.J. Brown | WR10 | NE | 215.5 | +63.8 |
Tier 5 — 4 RB, 3 WR, 1 QB, 1 TE (ranks 23–31)
The first tier where quarterback and tight end appear, with Trey McBride checking in as TE1 at #23 overall and Josh Allen as QB1 at #28 overall — both well above their positional replacement lines. The nine-player, four-position mix gives drafters flexibility, but the 3.4-point gap below is the smallest cliff yet, so there is little penalty for letting this tier pass if your RB and WR needs are already addressed.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |

| 23 | Trey McBride | TE1 | ARI | 208.3 | +58.4 |

| 30 | Breece Hall | RB15 | NYJ | 200.0 | +48.4 |
| 31 | Omarion Hampton | RB16 | LAC | 199.2 | +47.6 |
Tier 6 — 7 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE (ranks 32–41)
Ten players dominated by wide receivers — seven of the ten — with Brock Bowers as the only second tight end on the page at this level. The 9.1-point internal spread and a 3.3-point gap below make this a fluid tier where roster construction, not urgency, should drive decisions. If you still need a TE2, Bowers is the last one available before the position disappears from the top of the list.

Tier 7 — 3 RB, 1 WR (ranks 42–45)
Tier 7 has the tightest spread on this page at just 2.4 Draft Value points across four players, three of them RBs. The 4.4-point gap below is the first meaningful step down since Tier 5, so while the tier itself is nearly flat, leaving it empty does carry a real cost — particularly at running back, where D'Andre Swift, Jadarian Price, and Cam Skattebo represent the last RB cluster before the position thins sharply.
| # | Player | Pos | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 42 | D'Andre Swift | RB19 | CHI | 183.5 | +31.8 |
| 43 | Jadarian Price | RB20 | SEA | 183.1 | +31.5 |
| 44 | Tee Higgins | WR21 | CIN | 182.7 | +31.0 |
| 45 | Cam Skattebo | RB21 | NYG | 181.1 | +29.4 |
Tier 8 — 14 WR, 4 QB, 4 RB, 3 TE (ranks 46–70)
Twenty-five players spanning 24.4 Draft Value points, with wide receivers (14) and quarterbacks (4) making up the bulk of the group — this is the primary QB window on the page, with Lamar Jackson, Drake Maye, Joe Burrow, and Dak Prescott all sitting above replacement level. The gap below Tier 8 is just 0.6 points, essentially no cliff at all, so there is no strategic cost to dipping into Tier 9 immediately after — the real decision here is whether to spend on a QB before the position crosses into negative surplus territory.

Tier 9 — 41 WR, 27 DST, 18 QB, 17 TE, 14 RB, 13 K (ranks 71–200)
All 130 remaining players project at or below replacement level, spanning a 50.9-point internal spread that includes every DST, every kicker, and the bulk of the QB and TE depth — positions where negative draftValue is the norm, not the exception. Draft DSTs and kickers last; their draftValues are uniformly negative and the positional pool is deep enough that waiting costs nothing. The top of this tier — Jalen Hurts at QB6, Brandon Aubrey at K1, J.K. Dobbins at RB26 — sits right at the replacement line, making those the only names here worth targeting before the final rounds.

That isn't luck. Those managers have tendencies, and after enough seasons the tendencies are a book. Your league's own draft history is where it's written.
