2026 Fantasy Football Auction Values

Auction dollar values for a 12-team, half-PPR league with $200 budgets, priced from RotoAlpha's own projections. Every draftable player gets a price: his projected points above the replacement-level starter at his position, converted to dollars against the league-wide $2,400 pool. At 12 teams the board runs 180 players deep: the top price is $58, 98 players clear $10, and the last 8 roster spots go at the $1 minimum. The board recalculates as our projections update, daily through draft season.

How these values are built

Each dollar figure starts from our projection of the player's season points, subtracts the projected points of the replacement-level starter at his position, and converts what's left into a share of the league's total auction money. A player projected at replacement level is worth exactly the $1 his roster spot costs; the stars are worth what their edge over the free-agent pool is worth. That approach is value-based drafting, and we've written up how it works and where the textbook version goes wrong. The projections themselves are our own model, backtested and recalculated daily.

Kickers and team defenses are priced differently, because they're played differently. Their replacement isn't the last one drafted, it's whoever is sitting on waivers in week 3, so we price them against that pool instead of against each other. We also shrink what's left: across 2019-2025, our top-projected defense finished 16th on average, and the projected gap between the best defense and the waiver pool realized at about a seventh of its size. That's why the whole defense position costs less here than one bench running back. The ordering is still worth reading; the dollars just shouldn't pretend to a precision the position doesn't have.

Using the board at the table

Values are a ceiling, not a script. The board tells you when to stop bidding, and discipline about that single number is worth more than any nomination trick. Three habits that pay for themselves:

Nominate players you don't want. Early nominations drain other budgets while your targets wait. Track the room's remaining money, not just your own; a table that overspent early has to hand you the middle rounds at a discount. And when a player crosses his printed value, let him go: the pool is deep enough that the surplus you protect by passing is the edge these numbers exist to find.

The other half of table craft is the people you bid against. Values price the players; your league's own draft history prices the room, and we've written up how to scout auction tendencies from your league's history: budget shapes, nomination tells, and the endgame bankrolls that decide the last hour.

Different league size or budget?

We publish this board at twelve league formats, every combination of 8, 10, 12 or 14 teams and standard, half-PPR or full-PPR scoring. Pick yours from the format row above; each one is priced from scratch rather than scaled, because team count moves replacement level and therefore reorders the board. Bigger leagues drain the free-agent pool, which raises what the stars are worth relative to the middle class. Our 14-team and 10-team rankings show the same shift in the underlying board.

Budget is the one setting that gets no page of its own, and deliberately. Changing the budget changes every price but not the order: a $100 room buys the same players in the same sequence for roughly half as much. Rather than publish that twice, the free auction values calculator opens on this exact format and reprices the whole board for any budget, roster shape or scoring tweak you give it.

Beyond the numbers

The same names cash in your league every year

That isn't luck. Those managers have tendencies, and after enough seasons the tendencies are a book. Your league's own draft history is where it's written. Paste it in a couple of minutes and RotoAlpha writes the book on every rival: who reaches, who chases runs, who overpays. The rival report is free.
