Tier 1 (ranks 1–2)
Trey McBride (TE1, 185.1 pts, +44.6 draft value) and Brock Bowers (TE2, 175.1 pts, +34.5) sit in a class that no other tier on this page approaches — the gap below Tier 1 is 15.7 points, the largest cliff on this page. That means leaving this tier empty carries a steeper cost than any other positional decision you'll make at tight end. The 10.1-point internal spread between McBride and Bowers is real but secondary; either player delivers a surplus that the rest of the position simply cannot match.
| # | Player | Overall | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Trey McBride | #29 | ARI | 185.1 | +44.6 |
| 2 | Brock Bowers | #38 | LV | 175.1 | +34.5 |
Tier 2 (ranks 3–4)
Tyler Warren (TE3, 159.4 pts, +18.8) and Colston Loveland (TE4, 151.9 pts, +11.4) are the only other tight ends projecting meaningfully above replacement level. The gap below Tier 2 is just 0.6 points, which means the drop to Tier 3 is nearly negligible — if you miss both of these players, you are not falling off a cliff, you are stepping down a curb. That changes the calculus: there is less urgency to force a Tier 2 pick than the Tier 1 gap demands.
| # | Player | Overall | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | Tyler Warren | #49 | IND | 159.4 | +18.8 |
| 4 | Colston Loveland | #60 | CHI | 151.9 | +11.4 |
Tier 3 (rank 5)
Harold Fannin stands alone here at TE5 — 151.4 projected points and a +10.8 draft value — and because this tier has exactly one member, it carries the tightest spread on this page by definition. The 10.8-point gap below him is meaningful: once Fannin is gone, every remaining tight end projects at or below replacement level. If Tiers 1 and 2 are exhausted, securing Fannin is the last move that guarantees a positive surplus at the position.
| # | Player | Overall | Team | Proj | Draft Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Harold Fannin | #63 | CLE | 151.4 | +10.8 |
Tier 4 (ranks 6–36)
Thirty-one tight ends occupy Tier 4, ranging from Travis Kelce (TE6, 140.5 pts, +0.0) at replacement level all the way down to Noah Gray (TE36, 62.5 pts, -78.0) — a 78.0-point internal spread that reflects just how wide the variance is within this group. Kelce sits at exactly replacement level, meaning anyone ranked TE7 or below actively costs you relative to a waiver-wire baseline. With this much depth bunched near zero value, the strategic move is to secure a Tier 1 through 3 tight end early and treat this tier as a late-round fallback rather than a target.
