Data sources

Where our market-consensus average draft position (ADP) numbers come from, and how we combine them. We build our own projections (see how RotoAlpha works) — the sources below are the public draft market we compare against, not our model.

Consensus ADP

Where you see a "Consensus ADP" number in RotoAlpha, it's the median of every public ADP source that agrees closely enough with the others to trust — never a single site's number relabeled. A source that disagrees sharply with the rest is left out of that number rather than dragging it off; when fewer than two sources agree closely enough, we show nothing rather than guess.

Consensus ADP reflects the overall market — it is not specific to your league's size. No public ADP source publishes numbers broken out by number of teams, so we don't invent that precision either.

Sources

Each source publishes its own average draft position from real drafts on its platform. We pull their public data, never republish a source's full board, and never present any one source's numbers as "our" numbers.
