Half-PPR Fantasy Football Rankings 2026 — Quarterback Tiers

These are RotoAlpha's 12-team Half-PPR quarterback rankings, where tiers group QBs with similar Draft Value surplus above replacement level — the higher the tier, the more a quarterback projects to outproduce what you could pick up off the waiver wire.

Tier 1 (rank 1)

1 player · ranks 1–1 · Draft Value +63.7 to +63.7

Josh Allen stands alone at QB1 with a projected 331.1 points and a draft value of +63.7 — and the cliff below him is 43.0 draft value points, the biggest gap on this entire page. Tier 1 also has the tightest spread on this page, which is trivially exact: one player, one number. Leaving this tier empty costs more than any other positional decision you will make at quarterback.

Tier 2 (ranks 2–3)

2 players · ranks 2–3 · Draft Value +20.7 to +14.3

Joe Burrow (QB2, 288.1 pts, +20.7) and Lamar Jackson (QB3, 281.7 pts, +14.3) are the only two quarterbacks projecting meaningfully above replacement after Allen. The internal spread of 6.4 draft value points between them is narrow enough that roster construction context — not a sharp preference between the two — should drive which one you target. A 10.3-point gap separates this tier from Tier 3, so missing both of these quarterbacks carries a real but manageable cost.

2 Joe Burrow #45 CIN 288.1 +20.7
3 Lamar Jackson #52 BAL 281.7 +14.3

Tier 3 (ranks 4–5)

2 players · ranks 4–5 · Draft Value +4.0 to +1.5

Dak Prescott (QB4, +4.0) and Patrick Mahomes (QB5, +1.5) both project above replacement, but only barely — their combined internal spread is just 2.5 draft value points. The gap down to Tier 4 is only 1.5 points, meaning the drop from this tier to the top of the replacement pool is nearly negligible. If you've secured a Tier 1 or Tier 2 quarterback, waiting through Tier 3 entirely is a low-cost decision.

5 Patrick Mahomes #69 KC 268.9 +1.5

Tier 4 (ranks 6–36)

31 players · ranks 6–36 · Draft Value +0.0 to -201.7

Thirty-one quarterbacks occupy Tier 4, ranging from Drake Maye at QB6 (+0.0, right at replacement level) down to J.J. McCarthy at QB36 (-201.7), an internal spread of 201.7 draft value points. The top of this tier — Maye, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert — projects close enough to replacement that the difference between them and a late-round streamer is slim. Deeper in the tier, draft values turn sharply negative, so if you're targeting a Tier 4 quarterback, the rank within the tier matters: QB6 through QB12 represent a very different proposition than QB20 and beyond.
